Sitting on a dog sled and feeling the wind in your face is something truly special. Here, you can experience the magic of winter from the best seat in the house, right in the heart of Dalarna. North of The Lake Dalarna, together with Frasse and his purebred Siberian Huskies, is back with us and offering dog sledding tours. Join us for a 2.5 or 5-kilometre adventure through the winter landscape.

Join us for a magical adventure through the snow-covered landscape here at Orsa Grönklitt, together with a team of happy and eager dogs. A wonderful winter experience for both children and adults, where nature and the energy of the dogs take centre stage. Choose between a 2.5 km or 5 km dog sledding tour. Limited availability – book online and secure your spot!

Dress according to the weather and wear warm shoes. A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children can ride on each sled (maximum weight 250 kg). Children under 3 years old ride free on a parent’s lap and are the parent’s responsibility.

Booking

Bookings must be made no later than the day before online, at our reception or by phone at +46 250 462 00.  We recommend that you book early as this is a popular activity.

Cancellations

Refunds are available for cancellations made no later than 4:00 PM on the day before, and only in the event of injury or illness upon presentation of a valid medical certificate. You will then receive a refund of the amount paid, less an administration fee of SEK 250 per booking.

For cancellations made on the same day, 100% of the amount paid will be retained, regardless of the reason.

Maximum 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults (4 adults will NOT fit on the sled) Children under 3 years ride for free under the responsibility of the parent.

My name is Adrian, and I am your dog sledding guide here in Grönklitt. For over six years, I have been leading professional dog sledding tours and have chosen to specialize in the original sled dogs – Greenland Dogs.

My greatest passion is giving guests the opportunity to experience these incredible dogs and the magical Swedish wilderness in an unforgettable way. In addition to guiding tours, I also compete in long-distance races with my dogs and present the breed to a wider audience. In 2023, I became the first person ever to complete Sweden’s longest and toughest race – the 350 km Beaver Trap Trail – with purebred dogs.

I guide in Swedish, English, or German.
