A tip is to try the nice hiking trail around Rädsjön, where you can have a wonderful nature experience.
Raise your heart rate with Nordic walking: The steep Söderbacken or the longer Mellanbacken are perfect for those who want to turn up the pulse during your hike. For a slightly more moderate Nordic walk, choose one of the hiking trails on the map with more flat terrain.
Picking mushrooms and berries: During the autumn, Orsa Grönklitt is a perfect place to look for both berries and mushrooms. With the forest right outside the door almost, it's almost a matter of putting on a pair of boots, packing a packed lunch and bringing a bucket or basket.

Everything you need for a successful tour
At the Activity center you will find everything you could possibly need before a hiking trip at Orsa Grönklitt. There are also baby carriers for children for rent. We are also happy to help you with information and tips on different trails that suit you and your family!
Bärra's adventure trail
A playful adventure trail that starts behind the Activity center and winds its way through the forest, down towards Rädsjön and then on to the center. Here you get to use both strength and balance to cope with obstacle courses, mazes, logs, stones and water.
Coffee trip to a shelter
In the surroundings around Orsa Grönklitt there are several nice resting places with fireplace and shelter, to walk to. Few things beat an outdoor coffee or lunch cooked over an open fire.
A tip for those who hike with little ones is to jump on Bärra's hiking trail at the Activity center and from there wind down to the resting area by the canoes.
A cultural-historical walk. The entire Siljansleden trail is about 34 miles long and mostly follows old mountain trails, where a number of pastures are passed. The trail goes around both Lake Orsa and Siljan and is divided into different stages.
The signature trail Siljan runs between Fryksås and Rättvik.
