Trail Pass

Each year we invest in developing activities here in Orsa Grönklitt. The trail fee we receive is therefore an important part of our continued efforts to improve and expand the experience.

Try Roller Skiing

If you’re curious about trying roller skiing, the Cross-Country Centre is the perfect place to start. Here you can rent roller skis and head out for a ride to experience speed and movement along the trails. They also offer courses where you can learn the basics of the technique and get guidance to help you feel confident and safe on roller skis.

Multi-Ski Track

On our Multi-Ski Track, you can choose between several loops: a longer loop of just under 5 km, a shorter loop of just over 1 km, and a small loop around the stadium of just over 300 metres. The total elevation gain of the Multi-Ski Track is 48 metres, making it a technically easy course suitable for many skill levels.

Develop Your Technique

During the winter season, Orsa Grönklitt’s modern cross-country ski school is incredibly popular. In the summer, the instructors shift their focus and offer lessons in cycling and roller skiing – all to help you get the most out of your training and your stay in the wilderness surrounding the resort.

Cross-Country Centre

The Cross-Country Centre is Orsa Grönklitt’s activity hub and is open every day all year round. During the summer, the instructors shift their focus and offer lessons in cycling and roller skiing.

In addition to renting bikes, canoes, roller skis, inline skates, and fishing equipment, along with all the accessories needed for an active holiday, you’ll also find an outdoor shop here.

Service and Maintenance

After your session, it’s a good idea to clean your roller skis, as they can collect a lot of dirt from the asphalt. Wash the skis with soapy water and a cloth, then let them dry thoroughly before storing them in a dry place.

They should not be stored in cold or damp conditions during the winter months, as there is a risk of ice forming in the wheel bearings.

Beginner Tips for Roller Skiing

Take a lesson with our skilled instructors to learn the correct technique from the start. Begin with a session on flat terrain where there are not too many hills. Continue practising your technique, balance, and braking so that you feel confident and safe on your roller skis.
