Before you leave the accommodation, we kindly ask you to thoroughly clean the place so that the next guest can enjoy the same wonderful experience as you did. Below you will find a checklist that guides you through what needs to be done. Thank you very much for helping us keep the accommodation pleasant and well maintained!
Checklist
✔ Dust and vacuum furniture and floors.
✔ Wash dishes and put them away in the cupboards.
✔ Clean the bathroom, toilet, sink, taps, drying cabinet, and sauna.
✔ Clean the wood-burning stove or fireplace; do not use a vacuum cleaner due to the risk of fire.
✔ Clean the refrigerator and freezer, but do not turn them off.
✔ Clean the stove, oven, microwave, sink, and fan.
✔ Shake and air out all rugs.
✔ Empty the ashes from the fireplace or wood-burning stove if you have been burning wood.
✔ Wipe out cabinets, drawers, and closets and make sure the cabinets are clean.
✔ Wet mop all floor surfaces.
✔ Air out the bedding and fold it.
✔ Check that all windows and doors are closed and locked.
✔ Report and pay for any damaged goods at the reception desk before departure.
✔ Report any faults to the reception desk.
✔ If you have rented linen, fold it and leave it by the front door.
✔ Return any borrowed items from other accommodations to the correct place.
✔ Set all radiators to +18 degrees.
✔ If you have booked a high chair or cot, place these in the hall. If you have moved the cot or high chair between two accommodations, it is important that you place them in the cottage where they were when you arrived.
After you have cleaned and before you leave the accommodation, carry out a Self Check of your cleaning via the QR code on the refrigerator in the accommodation. If there is no checklist with pictures, a check will be carried out afterwards and you may be charged at least SEK 1,500. Unapproved cleaning will be charged at SEK 2,500 + the regular cleaning price.
Any faults that arise during your stay must be reported to Reception as soon as possible. If you have any comments about the cleaning, please notify Reception by 11:00 a.m. the day after arrival so that we can rectify the fault—do not clean it yourself.
