Cleaning checklist

Before leaving your accommodation, you must complete a self check via the QR code located on the refrigerator – regardless of whether you clean yourself or have booked departure cleaning.

If you clean yourself, you must carefully follow the instructions and document the condition of the accommodation with photos after cleaning is completed. If you have booked departure cleaning, you must indicate this in the form, complete the checklist, and save it before leaving.

If the cleaning is not carried out according to the checklist or if photo documentation is missing, a follow-up inspection will be conducted and a fee from SEK 1,500 may apply. Cleaning that is not approved will be charged SEK 2,500 plus the standard cleaning fee

Cleaning Checklist

Kitchen:
✔ Wipe out cupboards and drawers
✔ Wash dishes and return glasses, crockery, and cutlery to their places
✔ Clean and return pots and frying pans to cupboards
✔ Clean the dishwasher and check the filter
✔ Clean the fridge/freezer inside and out. Leave them switched on and close the doors after cleaning
✔ Clean stovetop/hob, oven (including trays), the drawer under the oven, and the kitchen fan
✔ Clean coffee maker, other appliances, and microwave. Dispose of coffee filters and empty the kettle
✔ Clean under the sink cabinet and waste sorting bins, as well as the sink and countertop. Clean any pull-out cutting board if present
✔ Clean cupboard and drawer fronts

Bedroom / Loft:
✔ Dust shelves, lamps, skirting boards, wardrobes, bedside tables, and bed frames
✔ Shake duvets and pillows outdoors. Ensure they are clean and fresh. If anything needs replacing, contact reception at +46 250 462 00
✔ Place bed linens folded on the bed
✔ Vacuum and wet mop the floor
✔ If you have rented bed linen, place it together with the towels in the hallway

Bathroom:
✔ Run water and check that drains are not blocked. If they are, contact reception at +46 250 462 00
✔ Clean mirrors and wipe bathroom cabinets/shelves
✔ Clean sink (inside and underneath), surrounding walls, and polish taps
✔ Clean shower walls, floor drains, and polish fixtures
✔ Clean toilet inside and out, including the wall behind
✔ Wet mop floors, including the sauna if applicable
✔ If there is a washing machine – clean detergent drawer, rubber seal, and filter / if tumble dryer – clean filter and empty water

Living Room:
✔ If there is a fireplace, remove ash (ensure it has cooled) and clean glass doors if applicable
NOTE: Ash must never be vacuumed (hot ash = place in ash bucket, let cool, dispose as residual waste)
✔ Wipe tables and chairs (including undersides and legs)
✔ Vacuum sofa and under cushions (if possible)
✔ Vacuum and wet mop the floor
✔ Dust windowsills, shelves, skirting boards, and lamps

Hallway:
✔ Clean and wipe out the drying cabinet
✔ Clean cleaning cupboard and wardrobes
✔ Clean the doormat
✔ Polish mirror if present

Other:
✔ Take out and shake all rugs
✔ Vacuum and wet mop floors – remember stairs if applicable

Final Check:
✔ Heating is on, fridge/freezer is running, and all lights are turned off
✔ Do not leave any garbage on the balcony/terrace – dispose of waste in designated areas
✔ Balcony/terrace doors and windows are closed/locked
✔ Straighten curtains, tablecloths, rugs, chairs, and tables
✔ If the accommodation has a private storage/closet – ensure it is locked

If anything has been damaged during your stay, please report it to reception as soon as possible: +46 250 462 00. If you have any concerns regarding cleaning, you must notify reception no later than 11:00 AM the day after arrival so we can address the issue – please do not clean it yourself.
